some recent photos

On a grey bedsheet, a black cat lies on his back with his stomach up, curled around so his back paw is nearly touching the top of his head. His face is upside down and his tail is curling around over his back legs.

Looking out onto the ocean from the beach, the horizon above the water glows orange, the sun has just set. The tide is very low and retreats from the shore, the sand reflects the dusk sky. Some mountains a bit further up the coast appear silhouetted in the distance.

This photo is taken from one side of an old factory room with brick walls and wooden floors, bright white light glows in through tall industrial windows. The room is filled with messy rows of dining chairs of many varietes and along the wall across the room there are stacks of lampshades, a table, and some shelves. The chairs that fill the space are mostly wooden, some have upholstered seats.

The photo is mostly black, but in the far distance, above the silhouttes of tree tops and branches, a singular building is lit up. Behind it, clouds low to the horizon are also illuminated. The sky gradually fades into darkness toward the top of the frame.

A dirt road with lush greenery growing down the middle of it and on either side recedes into the distance. Dense trees grow arching over the road on the left side, and fewer trees grow on the right side. The blue and cloud-spotted sky is visible through branches over the road.

Looking down on a tray full of shredded ice, three wedges of a watermelon with a yellow rind and pink flesh lay in the bottom left corner. At the center of the frame, a wedge of watermelon with a green rind and yellow flesh lies seed-side up, and two more of the same color lean out of the top of the frame. Two wedges of watermelon with a green rind and pink flesh are staggered in the bottom right corner.
